Leave Marrakech in the morning (departure between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m.) and head to beautiful Essaouira on the Atlantic coast. Once you arrive in the port city, formerly known as Mogador, you will have time to enjoy the charming sights of Essaouira.

Take photos of its ocher-colored walls, the beautiful and vibrant Moulay El Hassan Square, the markets also called souks, as well as the small streets of the city’s ancient medina.
Then, enjoy a fresh fish lunch at a local restaurant. During your trip, you will also visit a Berber women’s association producing argan oil, see local markets, and marvel at the precious stones in the jewelry district.
